How to Join the PCS - Loma Prieta PCS
|I don't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member.
Why Join the PCS?
It is unnecessary to formally join the PCS in order to be an active participant. Non-members may go on unrestricted PCS trips, our meetings are open to the public, and our newsletter Scree is available to anyone.
So why join?
The PCS provides a meeting place for backcountry enthusiasts of all stripes to get together and plan adventures, whether they are members or not. Actual membership in the PCS is required for trip leaders and PCS Officers, and you must be a member to vote at our elections. So join and give something back to the section by leading trips or volunteering your time in the organization. Or join simply to be a part of the fun.
For participation in restricted PCS outings, current Sierra Club membership is required.
