The Snows Of Kilimanjaro And Other Tall Tales w/ Arun Mahajan:

Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 7:30pm
Peninsula Conservation Center
3921 E. Bayshore Road, Palo Alto, CA

In July 2018 PCS member Arun Mahajan read Hemingway’s short story, picked up a few words of Swahili, journeyed to Tanzania with friends and some family members, drank excellent coffee and pondered on the conundrum of the leopard on the top of Kilimanjaro that Hemingway mentions. While the leopard still remains a mystery, he was able to huff and puff his way to the top. Yes, there is still snow at the top and Arun used crampons for it too! Come to the February 2019 PCS meeting and listen to the tall tales of climbing this excellent peak.
